Experiments of my chosen photographer!

Theres are the photographs that I have taken with the concept of Will Self, I was not able to find the little statue of men so I decided to use Jelly Babies as a alternative.

Here are my photos.

I like this photograph because of the color, and how the jelly baby is really bright and the background is blurry so the photograph is focused on the Jelly babies.

This photo is not really clear and not a great picture, however I like this photograph because I tried to re-create the seaside without actually going there however it didn't really work but I still like this photograph.

I like this photograph because it looks like the jelly baby is actually reading something and it re-creates real life situations.

I like this photograph because I tried to re-create the scene of real life because there are some people who are not that confident and don't really socialize.

The photographer I have chosen is Will Self!

William Woodard "Will" Self was born 26th September 1961 is a English Novelist reviewer and columnist. He is known for his satirical, grotesque and fantastical novels and short stories.

The photograph he takes shows us everyday life by take little small figures and creating a recreation scene of what happens around us everyday.

I have chosen this photographer because I like the way he re-creates everyday life situations and makes it into a miniture version using little figure, and it shows that people do different things in everyday life and some people will see different things everyday.

This is the road to school, I choose this photo because I like the way you can see that there is a normal moving image, like the cars are driving past and people are walking and you can see the school gates all down the photo.

This is the photo of the schools sign which i pass everyday, I have chosen this photo because I like the way the text shows where people are suppose to go if they arrive at the school.

This photo is a photo of me walking down, I have chosen to use this photo because there is someone walking their dog and there is a lot of red color in the photograph.

I have chosen this photograph because I pass the church when I walk up to school and instead of taking a picture of the whole church I have decided to take a photo of their board.

I have chosen this photo because the bus represents that I take bus home and the way I walk down to take bus.

I have chosen this photo because its a building that I always see and i like how it is bold.

I have chosen this photo because the two men in the photo are doing their own thing and not looking at the camera.

Assignment

The photographer who inspired me is William Eggleston. The photos I have thought of taking was photos of my everyday family because Eggleston took pictures documenting his home town Memphis, Tennessee. However I want to document my family on what they do everyday.

The assignment i have decided to set myself is too look at William Eggleston's work and take the concept of his ideas and try to make it my own.
